I’m working on a website right now, HerbDigger.Com, and I just finished a couple of articles about garlic. Looking at garlic for a few hours and studying the scapes and garlic flowers, well, I wondered if they would make cute backgrounds. The do make cute backgrounds. I kind of think they’d look good as couch pillows.

Okay, hear me out. Doris Day, black velvet, gold swish, fancy soiree…. Are you there? I am so there. Plus, this is full of gold leaves and while I’m designing today it is in the nineties and I live in the desert. I’m craving autumn like mad. I’m actually thinking of making these into a seamless pattern because I would LOVE a bed set in this style and with companies like Spoonflower out there, anything is possible now.

This digital scrapbook paper pack includes three backgrounds in gold on black floral prints in an oil painting art style. I tossed in a png gold, oil painting of a flower also.

Gold on black is gorgeous. It’s just so magical, right? I often visit Thanksgiving Point in Utah. If ever there was a fairy garden, that is where you’d find it. The landscaping and plant life is so beautiful you wouldn’t be surprised to see a fairy pop out anywhere along the trails. I’ve been to night concerts in the garden and with a few twinkle lights, the magic vibes all around you. It’s amazing. Somewhere I got that gold on black stuck in my head and working with a.i. this popped out. It’s way more than I can fit in one kit so you’ll probably see more of it someday. Have you read Brandon Mull’s Fablehaven? He exactly portrayed what I think fairies would be like if they were real. It’s an adorable book. I highly recommend it for youth and adults.

Sunflower Pigs is a free digital scrapbook kit. What do you think? Did someone leave me alone with Canva and Photoshop too long? Did you know that pigs are very, very smart? If you put a straw hat on them and toss in some flowers, they’re also pretty cute.

I’d love to see what you use these on. On a side note, I just want to brag that I planted 50 giant sunflowers in our yard this year and about 45 have survived. And I want to confess that I haven’t even beat the seeds off of last year’s sunflower heads yet. I bet they’re lots less than fresh after spending winter inside with us. The fellow down the street covers his giant sunflowers with potato bags to ward off hungry birds. I think with 45 I should be able to feed us and birds.

I was curious, so I thought I’d try out the a.i. generators. What do you think? The rules are that I have to disclose that the a.i. thought up most of the end results, though I did tweak it after in PS. (Note the missing flip flop colors in a few places. Pretty interesting. We just got back from New England. They call us “Leaf Peepers!” Man, I so would have bought that tee shirt, only nobody made it. Hilarious. Yes, we went leaf peeping. My favorite was the view from the Omni Mount Washington Resort. We’re going to start saving now for next year so we can spend the night. Hoity Toity, but we have to try it at least once. The digi paper pack is too big because I couldn’t stop myself from playing with the a.i. Probably going to be my new favorite hobby.
