A-180 Teal Thanksgiving Digital Scrapbook Kit
I’m having a very good year with many blessings. I didn’t expect this kit to be so large but a.i. kept churning out borderline darling stuff. What do I mean by borderline? The images are hazier than what I’d design. There are extra parts to things, characters, and people. Edges are weird. I like to think of a.i. as alien. It’s easier to forgive the hours I have to take to fix the worst of it. But I really didn’t fix too much on this. It is a WONKY kit. Expect wonky. It took up two files. I was able to make some fun elements from it. Once they’re shrunk down on a page it’s going to look fantastic. But expect WONKY. Expect crossed eyes. Expect weird wings. I don’t want anyone coming back to me complaining of wonky-ness. Of course it’s wonky. It’s a.i. The big benefit of a.i. is it’s a huge time saver…. an even big time saver if you don’t go back and fix all that WONKY. Enjoy.
A-296 ai Porcupine Clipart with Elephants and Daisies
Elephant and porcupine clipart with daisy and patchwork backgrounds in digital format.
I had a few spare moments to whip out some elephant and porcupine clipart today. I love the oil painting style patchwork background in neutral teals and browns; gives it all a hint of shabby-vintage. The daisy background paper is perfectly set against a soft, plaid blanket. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making this digital scrapbook kit. I tossed in a happy puppy because we know every elephant wants one.

My grand is eight months old and he is the chunkiest little piece of heaven. I need to start doing pushups because he is getting heavy. I needed this baby boy digital scrapbook kit to scrap those first few months of his life.

Recording milestone developments and activities in a scrapbook for babies and children can create cherished memories for them to enjoy when they’re older. Some milestones to include are their first smile, first word, and first steps. These moments mark important stages in their development and serve as joyful memories to look back on. Additionally, capturing special occasions such as birthdays, holidays, and family gatherings helps them see how they’ve grown and the love surrounding them from an early age.
Furthermore, documenting everyday activities and favorite hobbies can add depth to the scrapbook. Include photos of them playing with toys, exploring nature, or learning new skills like drawing or riding a bike. These snapshots provide a glimpse into their personality and interests as they grow. Incorporating handwritten notes, drawings, and mementos like hospital bracelets or locks of hair adds a personal touch and shows them they are loved and valued.

Where did this silly nursery rhyme come from anyway?
The story of “The Cow Jumped Over the Moon” originates from the English nursery rhyme “Hey Diddle Diddle.” It’s believed to have been passed down orally for generations before being recorded in print. The first print record of “Hey Diddle Diddle” can be traced back to the late 18th century. It was published in a compilation titled “Tommy Thumb’s Pretty Song Book,” dated around 1744.
Why is it good to entertain your children with nursery rhymes?
Telling children nursery rhymes has numerous benefits for their development. Firstly, nursery rhymes help children develop language skills by exposing them to rhythmic patterns, rhyming words, and vocabulary. These linguistic elements aid in phonemic awareness and literacy development (Wortham, 2008). Additionally, nursery rhymes often contain repetitive phrases, which reinforce memory and cognitive skills in young children (Mayo, 2004).
Moreover, nursery rhymes offer opportunities for social interaction and bonding between children and caregivers. Singing or reciting rhymes together fosters communication and strengthens relationships (Borgström, 2016). Furthermore, nursery rhymes contribute to cultural literacy by passing down traditional stories, values, and heritage from one generation to the next (Stewig & Jett-Simpson, 1992). They connect children to their cultural roots and create a sense of belonging.
Importantly, nursery rhymes stimulate creativity and imagination in children. The whimsical characters and fantastical scenarios encourage imaginative play and exploration (Mazzoni, 2017). Additionally, engaging with nursery rhymes promotes emotional development by allowing children to express feelings through music and rhythm (McCready, 2007). Overall, the rich oral tradition of nursery rhymes offers a holistic approach to early childhood education, encompassing language, social, cultural, cognitive, and emotional domains.

Where should you put elements on your scrapbook page?
To craft an attractive scrapbook page, it’s important to consider the principles of design. When arranging your photos, aim for balance and visual harmony. According to design principles, placing larger photos centrally and surrounding them with smaller ones creates a focal point while maintaining overall symmetry. Leaving adequate white space between images, as recommended by design experts, prevents the layout from appearing cluttered and allows each photo to shine.
Moreover, incorporating scrapbook elements strategically adds depth and interest to your page. Drawing from design principles, select elements that complement your photos in theme or color scheme. Positioning embellishments near corresponding photos creates visual cohesion and reinforces the narrative. Varying the sizes and shapes of elements, as suggested by design principles, adds dynamic appeal and prevents monotony. By applying these principles of design to your scrapbook layouts, you can craft visually captivating pages that effectively convey your story.

Why Have Children Play Outside?
Exposure to natural environments significantly enhances children’s cognitive abilities, social skills, and emotional well-being. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (2018), spending time outdoors has been linked to heightened creativity. It is also linked to improved problem-solving skills, and overall better mental health outcomes for children. Therefore, it is imperative to provide ample opportunities for children to immerse themselves in nature and engage in outdoor play activities. This supports their holistic growth and development.
Why Have Children Own Pets?
Pets play a vital role in uplifting our spirits and contributing to our emotional well-being. As highlighted by Allen et al. (2002), pet ownership has been associated with reduced stress levels. Relationships with pets is associated with enhanced mood and increased happiness and relaxation. Whether it’s a dog, cat, or any other furry friend, pets offer invaluable companionship. They foster a sense of connection and providing comfort during challenging times. Additionally, caring for a pet instills valuable lessons in responsibility, empathy, and compassion in children. This nurtures their emotional development and enriching their lives in profound ways.
The Best of Both Worlds
In today’s fast-paced digital world, where distractions are abundant, it is crucial to prioritize outdoor play. This goal is aided by cultivating meaningful connections with pets. By incorporating activities that involve both nature and animals, we can positively impact children’s physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. Encouraging outdoor exploration and fostering relationships with pets also instills a deep appreciation for the simple joys of nature and the enduring companionship of animals. These experiences lay the foundation for a happier, more fulfilling future for children. That’s why emphasizing the importance of integrating nature and pets into their lives from an early age is something to aim for.
