When did Watercolor first come on the scene?

Nowadays we don’t generally watercolor on stone walls, artists use watercolor paper, which is thick and textured, allowing water to stay on the surface. Watercolor supplies, are they all equal?

For watercolor painting, it’s best to use soft brushes made of natural hair or synthetic fibers. Round brushes are versatile. There are different types of watercolor paints, including student-grade and artist-grade. Artist-grade paints are usually more expensive due to higher pigment concentration and quality. Similarly, brushes vary in quality and price. Investing in higher quality watercolor equipment can yield better results and convenience for the artist, as they often offer better pigmentation, color mixing, and durability.
